Fonts in use in the Eden project

Post by William »

The following image has a rather nice font that has a handwritten look.

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&layer=c ... 97752&z=18

Zooming-in displays a larger image. There is also an abstract image of a dove.

The first of the User Photos, as at the time of writing this sentence, has a picture of an AutoPot, the AutoPot having a lot of text upon it.

Are the fonts the same, or is a bold version being used on the AutoPot?

Does anyone recognise the font (or maybe fonts) please?

Rotating the original streetview image horizontally displays a partially obscured image of a compass rose with a large ornate capital E.

Here is a link to a sign that has some logos. Zooming-in produces a larger display. I had previously seen a wheelchair symbol, though not the same glyph as is being used in this image, in use in many places over many years, yet, as far as I know, I have not seen the pushchair symbol and the steep path symbol before.

Are the symbols from a known font or are they perhaps from locally produced artwork?

The sign at the entrance to the Arcade of Ideas uses two interesting fonts.

There are three levels of zoom so as to display successively enlarged views.

In another location, the sign offering the alternatives of steps and a lift has two language-independent logos.

Hi William.

Why didn't you just contact the lovely folks at Eden? I got a reply within hours. Their main signage font is Weber Hand. Widely available.

I generally find online identification and search tools pretty hit & miss. Clearly, asking type users directly can work, when it is possible.

Regards
