Glasgow 2014

Post by Alfred »

A special offer for the Arya font family has just reached me by email, reminding me that I wondered what font was used on the Glasgow 2014 website for the recent Commonwealth Games. It's very similar to Arya Triple, but not quite the same: in particular, the M is noticeably different, and the tops of the D, E, F and R are different too.

I don't have a practical need to identify this font. I'd just like to satisfy my curiosity!

Not the same font, but this font was also created for the Glasgow 2014 arts festival (not for the Commonwealth Games).

This is different too: Pan, Pedro/Pedro Pan/STROKES. Likely it was special for the event.

If you mean Arya Triple, the link to MyFonts in my first post is still valid. The font is also available from other sources such as Fontspring and Fonts.com.

Alfred,
Thank you for your reply.
I found the font you speak (arya triple) and despite being very similar, there are important differences in the font object.
Even the font "strokes" is different on some letters, such as "G".
You may not be able to find the right version?
Thank you very much for your interest.
