Re: Font used in this image
I found something that is very much the same although a little too expanded: OriyaMN. It's possibly a Mac system font.
One reference is:
Oriya MN.ttc:
Version: 7.0d4e1
Vendor: Murasu Systems Sdn. Bhd. Malaysia
Unique Name: Oriya MN; 7.0d4e1; 2010-11-05
Designer: Muthu Nedumaran. No idea how to buy it.

Extremely well done, Dick. I have been looking on and off for the past day. I have no idea if there is a PC version or not. It was installed in iOS 7 and is a TrueType Collection consisting of a regular and bold style. There is a minimum of western language support as it is an Indian script font. The website of the creators is:
http://murasu.com
For the image sample, the font was stretched vertically. I set the type using Magenta overlaid on the sample image.

Mike - thanks.
Rarely see ttc's nowadays. Just don't go places that need diacriticals... (but here the /O and /I do have marks).
Don't see on that site where this font was named however.

Hi Dick,
That's the URL from inside the font but beyond hitting the website to make sure the URL was valid, I didn't look through it. It may have been made/released for Apple. Dunno. I have it on a backup drive from a Mac I had to have for one client.
I don't know how exact the OP needs/wants a match to be. But if a client told me they wanted a match, I would try like heck to convince them to use Optima.

Slightly off-topic (oh, all right, very off-topic!) Hermann Zapf, the designer of Optima, died earlier this month at the grand old age of 96.MikeW wrote:I don't know how exact the OP needs/wants a match to be. Yes, indeed. Came through my newsfeed the day it was announced. Another one of those instances I had no idea he was even still alive!
