Early 1900s Font

Post by dharbigt »

So far Identifont, etc. want it to be Benguiat or Korinna or Della Robbia, none of which seem right to me. Notice that the "M" in "socialism" is different from the "M" in "demands". Well, this might not exist in any extant form, but I'm curious to hear back your opinions.

I couldn't find a good match either. Seemingly the /M in SOCIALISM is an /M inverted. The SOCIALISM at the bottom has weird /S. Printer was running out of type?

It's definitely neither Benguiat nor Della Robbia, but it looks quite close to Korinna in some respects.

The /M in "SOCIALISM" at the top looks like an inverted /W. The /M in "SOCIALISM" at the bottom is like the /M in "DEMANDS" at the top, but I agree with Dick about that "weird /S".
