Hindi font -> Issue faced with half characters and special charaters

Hi All,

I am currently trying to use a hindi ttf but when half character is merged with a full charater the new2 character isn't being formed properly.
For example -
सं यु क् त (currently being shown) should be shown as संयुक्त
द र् द (currently being shown) should be shown as दर्द
र क् षा (currently being shown) should be shown as रक्षा
स् या ही (currently being shown) should be shown as स्याही
क् या (currently being shown) should be shown as क्या

How do we handle this.
By buying the home edition would we be able to create a ttf file with all the special characters and insert them in the extended Devanagari unicode range A8E0 to A8FF so that this issue gets resolved ?
Kindly help with your input ASAP.

Regards,
Mahendra

From your thread in the Serif forums it seems that your problem lies with the application not supporting the OpenType features properly.

Which font are you using?

Since you would want to use FontCreator for commercial use, you will need to buy the Standard of Professional edition. Fonts edited with the Home Edition are for private use only.
