Georgian Lari Currency Symbol

This currency symbol was added in the latest update to Unicode 8.0.
Georgian Lari
The design is not prescriptive, i.e. this is just a geometric form of how the symbol should look. You should design it to match the existing glyphs if adding it to your fonts.
I have added a definition to CompositeData.xml (attached) to compose a glyph based on Capital Letter O, underscore, and combining double vertical line above (with a fallback glyph of quotedbl). This is just an aid to design. After completing composites you will see something like this:
Make the glyph simple, and use the knife tool, then Get Union of Contours to create a symbol more like the recommended design.
Below is my first attempt for the Italic Types Style of Sukhumala.
