Historical forms and historical ligatures

Post by William »

In the thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=7824 MikeW mentions historical forms.
I have it in mind to suggest in the Affinity Publisher forum that historical ligature ligature become included in the Affinity Publisher program.

Thus far I have found that there appear to be two relevant tables, with hlig and hist as their names.

Does anyone know anything about these please, why there are two tables and does anyone have experience of using them?

Affinity Publisher is at a public beta stage and suggestions are being invited and it is a top class product and so I am hopeful that such a suggestion might be accepted.

Thank you.

I had been trying to find that for some time.

Affinity products already support both features.

That really is good.

Thank you for pointing it out both here and in the Affinity Publisher forum.

I have downloaded a copy of your Lekhana font and I am trying it out.

Thank you.
