Hello High Logic,
I believe there is a bug in the latest update of FontCreator. The PostScript names for some glyphs have become corrupted. I first noticed this on my own font where all but one name had been corrupted. However when checking an installed font at random I noticed the same problem. See attached screenshot.
Will I need to rename all glyphs if I save my font in this state?

Re: Postscript names corrupted
I can't reproduce this. Can you please send the original and modified version of the font file to me?
Also let me know the exact version of FontCreator as well as your O.S.

Re: Postscript names corrupted
We've finally been able to locate and fix the problem (thanks to DP).
Do use the auto update feature within FontCreator (or download from the download page) to get the latest version (at the time of this writing version 6.2.0.259).
