[Resolved] Preview Truncates Test Characters

There seems to be a new limit to the number of characters displayed on the Preview toolbar. They are accepted at the top, but not shown below.

In this example, Each, Eels, Einar, Eons are in the list but only Each, Eels, Ein are listed.

We did indeed set the limit of characters in the preview area to 255, as with very complex fonts (you know what I'm talking bout), it would become so slow.

I'll see if we can find a better solution, so it will only truncate text when displaying complex characters.

hmm. thanks. I've never had a speed problem with this display.

Update to the maintenance release (version 7.0.1.458) we released a minute ago, and you should be able to see the full preview text again (if your PC is fast enough that is ).

Include outlines is defaulted to Yes!

hmmm. If the Preview display letters are too large it truncates shorter, but get the glyphs small enough and it's all there ....
