I watched the video, but I cannot see or apply colours in the glyph edit window.
The coloured glyphs in Logicol.otf show up in the Before and After preview glyphs, but not in the glyph edit window. Applying a new colour from the palette does not modify the glyph's colour.
What I expect to see is that the letter H is yellow on opening it in the glyph edit window, and blue after applying the new colour from the palette.
Here is my project file.

Re: Font Colours Not Being Applied in Windows XP
From the View menu, select Color mode.
Right now the switch between monochrome and color isn't very obvious. As always we'll make sure we have enough food for enhancements and new features.

Re: Font Colours Not Being Applied in Windows XP
Thanks. That now works.
Wouldn't it be better to automatically switch to/from colour mode on showing/hiding the colour palette?
If I open a digit glyph and enable colour mode the glyph disappears. Then it's no longer possible to disable the colour mode or show the glyph again.

To go back to monochrome, just select Color mode again. There is also a toolbar icon near the zoom icons.

The toolbar icon works — the menu doesn't

If that is the first and last bug...
We will fix it later this month, we need a break for a couple of days.

Re: Font Colours Not Being Applied in Windows XP
we're looking forward to a more clear defined and better functional organized workflow for the scalable color font feature in further updates.

Of course! We've given you the tools, so as soon as more people start making multi-color fonts, we will further improve the software.

Re: Font Colours Not Being Applied in Windows XP
I have written a tutorial on producing a colourized glyph using FontCreator 7.5.0.
