[FIXED] Mark position in Glyph Edit window

Post by dhiman4us@gmail.com »

Marks are moving with the movement of anchors for the simple glyph or characters but it doesn't happen for the compound/ conjuncts glyphs in the glyph edit window i.e., marks remain stationary when moving anchor!!! Is it a bug??

I am sorry, but I don't understand the problem. How do you change the anchor, and what do you expect to happen?

So it seems you are moving an anchor on a base glyph, and you have a mark glyph shown inside the Glyph Edit window, through the means of the Comparison toolwindow.

This works as long as the two are within a mark-to-base lookup.

So if it fails with some base-mark pair, better check if it exists in a lookup.

Hope this helps.

Sir, Both of them already exist in the lookup as you can see attached image below 😣

Even it is not happening only with this glyph but also with the other conjuncts...

Maybe the marks are not marked as being of OpenType type mark.

Do send us the font project and we will look into it.

New feature using: SHIFT-H in Glyph Edit window to only show glyph outline but how to reverse the process i.e. show all again?
