[FIXED] "... cannot be identified as a font file"

Post by ClintGoss »

I am getting "<Font file> ... cannot be identified as a font file" when I open one font in FC Pro 13.0.0.2678 on Win10x64.

The font opens in Windows Font Viewer, Installs without issue, and I can use the font in Microsoft Word. Not quite sure what to do next, since I use FC to diagnose font problems ...

I will send the font file on a support ticket ...

BTW, I tried this right after a fresh reboot, and got the same results ...

AMAZING responsiveness! Thank you so much ... I can now open the offending font with no issues.

I have since noticed some irregularities in the naming of that font (having to do with WWS Family) ... wondering if that was causing the issue ...
