Connecting cursive personal handwriting

I already have a personal handwriting .ttf font but when I use it the letters are not connected. Will this program fix this problem? Or can I create another personal cursive handwriting font that prints correctly with FontCreator 5.6. I am not a professional, just a home user that wishes to use a personal cursive handwriting font in all of my correspondence, both emails & snail mail.

Yes. You can do it with FontCreator by adjusting the side-bearings carefully, but it takes a bit of patience.
