Convert true type font to bitmap font ?

Hello,
I'm looking for a tool to convert *.ttf font to *.fon in windows platform.
Possible to do that using High-Logic tools ?

Why, in god's name, would you want to exact such an atrocity?
No, there is no support for generating bitmap fonts in FontCreator. I do know that FontForge, on linux, does have embedded bitmap functionality, and I'm pretty sure there is a tool from Microsoft typography that enable you to extract the embedded bitmaps. That's really the only workaround that I know of.

I know a rather old program - it is Softy from David Emmett. Unfortunately he died some years ago.
Softy is basically both a truetype and a pixel font designer. It allows to import true type fonts and to store them as pixel fonts.
I do not remember whether it is allowed to post url here. But Softy (1.07b is easy to find.
I used this before I found the font creator program.
