Glyph Sizing

Post by dekrohn »

I am hoping this is a strange request since my usage itself is strange.

I am taking an existing font family, regular, bold, italic and bold italic.
I want to make all of the glyphs start at 0,0 and ALSO, have a height or 2000 units - let the width come out where it will.
I have done this manually and it is a long task - but did what I needed.
Ignoring ascenders and descenders, is a script possible or is it built into font creator?

I don't think there's any way to do it with a Glyph Transform script. The size can be set using the Transform Toolbar.
