I am trying to create a Rounded/Soft font from a Sans Serif one. Need some ideas on how to go about this properly. See attached font.
Basically, the edges/corners are really sharp.

Re: Adding round/softness to edges
I don't think there are any shortcuts. It's quite a laborious process to round each corner to the desired radius either by adding nodes, or combining contours.
A lot of work can be saved by cut/paste contours from one glyph to another after carefully designing a few.

Re: Adding round/softness to edges
We should ask for a shortcut!
1. Select a point.
2. Push a button.
3. Make selected point off line.
4. Add online point slightly ahead and online point slightly behind.
QED.
Couldn't be easier!
