New Glyphs: How Do I set them to specific characters?

Post by Chatty »

Hi.

I created some marks to go over my main letters. How do I set them so that a SPECIFIC KEY types them when installed?

I created them as NEW glyphs.

Keyboard mapping is independent of glyph mapping.

To type accented characters like à you should enable an International keyboard in Windows, then type `followed by the vowel to type àèìòù or ÀÈÌÒÙ.

What accents have you added, and what are their glyph mappings?

It is a "ii" glyph, which I represent as a mark beneath the associated consonant glyph. FC12 does not allow me to assign auto-complete code points. I would not know how to assign this mark to a specific key.
