What is the perfect example of this character? or How should my kerning look.

For regular body text I think
Sukhumala is as good as it gets. It is derived from Sort Mills Goudy.
Kerning and spacing is hard to get right. I tend to make it too tight at the first attempt.

I think I see a mistake on the hyphenminus though, unless that is intentional.
