File location of a font

Post by NetHawk »

I know, that has been brought up before. But again: in some cases it would be helpfull to not only see the file name and location but also have a "explore" function, that opens the folder where the file is located. This is done so for example in Adobe Lightroom which is a database (SQLite) driven photo/image management software. It is helpful in cases where you need to copy/move the file for whatever reason.

This is only possible within a sync. font folder.

In all other situations, you can see the location (resource files), but you will have to manually open and browse your windows file explorer.

I don't have the menu entry "Open Containing Folder". This would be exactly what I was looking for. But how do I get this? I made sure, that I have the latest Version.

As Erwin said, you have to synchronise the Font Folder.

Go to Tools, Font Folder, to modify the settings for any of your registered font folders.
