I have a Windows Symbol font which I created in FontCreator.
It has been used for a few years in Windows.
It currently works perfectly in my Windows 8.1 desktop app.
However, it does not work in my Windows Store app, and a standard text font is being substituted
I have been unable to find any issues at MSDN and there are no error messages or install issues.
The standard Microsoft "Symbol" font works OK.
Has anyone had this issue ?
Thanks...

Re: Windows Store Apps
With fonts so many things can go wrong. The description you provided does not ring a bell here, so more information is needed to better understand the issue. What version of FontCreator do you have? And what license do you own?
Re: Windows Store Apps
I own Version 5.
I do not have a license.
My programs are all free, so I have not had any issues until now.
I am happy to upgrade to the newest FontCreator if that would work.
I do not know about a license.
Thanks.

Re: Windows Store Apps
I'm not sure if this is a contradiction, but please we aware we own the software. When you buy a license you get the right to use the software according to the licensing terms.JerryLive wrote:I own Version 5.

Excellent; I'm sure that will solve the problem:JerryLive wrote:I am happy to upgrade to the newest FontCreator if that would work.
