Can somebody give me a step by step on how to create a font group, say, serif or san serif, or eroded?
And can font show up in library still.

Re: Making a font group
- Click on the icon at top left of the Groups panel to add a group
- Drag and drop fonts from the Library into your new group
- Adding fonts to groups, or deleting them from groups, doesn't make any difference to the fonts list in the library. Groups are just filters to view fonts that exist in MainType's database of all fonts on your system

Where is "groups panel? "
My view on top left doesn't look like that...it has an icon for "view editor" then grayed out icon of pencil
then some directory folders in a tree.
Version 5.1.2
thanks

Perhaps you closed the Groups Panel. It's enabled by default. Reopen it from the View menu.crewmember wrote:Where is "groups panel? "

Ah ha! yes it was closed and hiding. Thanks much. So I can drag fonts from Library, i.e. "scripty" to a folder in my "groups" called that and they still appear in Library?
