This is the same as the previous one except that this one is spelt reyt.

Also a couple of mistakes have been corrected. Sorry about the previous version.

Excellent work. Even though I'm not that familiar with Deviant Art, I expect you'll get some nice feedback.PJMiller wrote:Kelvinch is now finished (I think, I hope).
I have uploaded it to the Deviant Art website, I updated the version number to 3.1 because of the problems with the kern tables in 3.0 and the fact that I changed the positioning of most of the diacritic marks.
Unless they provided details about what is wrong with the fonts, it must be lack of advanced font knowledge at FontSpace as your font is a sophisticated font and all validation tools I used confirm the font is fully valid.PJMiller wrote:I tried uploading Kelvinch to FontSpace but the website and then subsequently the guy who is on the end of the e-mail for the website claimed that the font files were corrupt and could not be installed on any Windows computer. I found this difficult to accept as I have installed these files on Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10 and Windows XP on both Laptops and Desktop machines without any trouble ... oh well.
Deviant Art is an art website for artworks of all kinds, only a small fraction of which are pornographic. Just click on the logo in the top left hand corner of the download page to get to the home page then click on the BROWSE tab. Check out the fractal art section.Erwin Denissen wrote:Excellent work. You can work around that dilemma by providing Stylistic Alternates. I downloaded Kelvinch from Font Squirrel, and that still has the curved crossbar.PJMiller wrote:The crossbar of the capital A is no longer curved, this was unpopular so I removed it but I can't help feeling that Kelvinch has lost some of it's character, oh well ...
I didn't think of that. Oh dear, does this mean I must produce a version 3.3 ?Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:You can work around that dilemma by providing Stylistic Alternates.
Font editing is never finished, but unless there's a serious bug any changes can wait until you feel the urge to make them. It's just a hobby — don't make it into a burden.PJMiller wrote:I didn't think of that. Oh dear, does this mean I must produce a version 3.3 ?
Don't worry, that post had it's tounge very firmly in it's cheek.Bhikkhu Pesala wrote:Font editing is never finished, but unless there's a serious bug any changes can wait until you feel the urge to make them.
