Hi all!
I was wondering if anybody knows a quick way to delete kerns that can't possibly occur based on my CALT entries.

I think your best bet is to copy the calt table to notepad, then manually work through the list of kerning pairs deleting those included in contextual alternates.
I wonder if some legacy apps that do support kerning might not support contextual alternates? Obviously, if you don't provide legacy "kern" tables in your fonts, they won't support kerning either of they don't support OpenType GPOS kerning.
