How to cut and paste common parts to other locations?

Post by hhwxyhh »

In a series of composite glyphs,I want to move the common part to another position, but when I cut and paste it, all the glyphs used will become simple glyphs. How can I cut and paste?

It is not possible to manually reorder glyphs.

If you want to reorder the glyphs in the glyphs overview window, do select Tools -> Sort Glyphs -> Design Mode.

Without reordering any glyphs you can use the button on the overview toolbar to sort glyphs by advance width. Since the combining diacritics should all have zero advance width they will be grouped together.
