It doesn’t stop the processing, it only closes the status panel.

We don’t know why you can’t restart MainType, so we would really like to look into it.

Can we do a remote desktop session?

We've just released another update (MainType 9.0.0.1180) which solves some performance and stability issues.

You can download it from the download page, but you can also use the Update feature within MainType.
