How to make a group of contours no-fill

Post by HighTechHillbilly »

Hello All,
We are trying to create shapes as characters.
However, we are stuck on a step, where we are attempting to make an oval shape with an empty color, while the rest of the shape is filled.
Here is a link to a video we created. https://www.dropbox.com/s/rfzq55shvqduv ... n.mp4?dl=0
Please forgive the bad terminology. I am sure you will know what the goal is.
Thanks!

It is all about the direction of the contours.

The manual has a topic about introduction of simple glyphs that explain it.

Since you have the professional edition, it is easiest to show the Validation toolbar (F7), as it has a button that fixes direction issues.
