Arabic connection gap

Post by KALI »

Hi there
After I exported my font and now working on the InDesign I'm facing an issue with some letters as I noticed in larger words some of the connections have gaps not sure why.

Hi,
This is easy to solve, the problem because the outline direction...
1- select all glyphs..ctrl+A
2- go to transform window
3- select - fix contour direction
4 O.K
5- export or install the font after deleting the older one.

Font validation features are not available in the home edition, see the FontCreator – Comparison Chart.

You can still manually fix the contour direction of your outlines, but it is more time-consuming.

Thank you Erwin for letting me know, most probably I will fix it manually although it’s not the best option as I’m running out of time.

4 Same thing for letters init LS -25, RS 25
5 Same thing for letters fina RS -25 LS 25
