[FIXED] Access violation trying to adjust metrics

Using Windows 10 home edition, and ScanaHand 7.0.0.304 (64-bit). I complete a single page template, then generate a font successfully. However, when I select the "adjust metrics" button, I get "access violation at address ... in module scanahand.exe. Read of address 0000000000000008."
I didn't see any other reports of this problem. It used to work on my older computer. Rerunning Setup did not resolve. Any advice?

I tried the patch, and unfortunately I still get the same error.
