[SOLVED] Opentype feature

Post by Greentrik6789 »

Hi, I ask for help to solve my problem, I have a problem with the font that I do,
when I add the All Alternate access feature. When my font tries in Adobe Photoshop, the ligature that is in the font doesn't work, and when I highlight the character that has alternate, there are many characters that shouldn't exist.
If I don't add the All Alternate access feature, the ligature works, but I have to access the alternate manually, and it will make it difficult for font users.

Thank you

You should always enabled _shaper as then the shaping engine works more or less the same as other shaping engines.

I noticed the first ligature feature contains 9 items, while the other has 10.

Does it work in a web browser?

these are 2 different fonts, i have tried it on the web and all features are working fine.

Previously these 2 fonts had the same problem in Photoshop and AI, then I tried to find the source of the problem, when I removed the "aalt" feature, the font worked normally, but I had to find alternative characters manually. and fonts that use the "aalt" feature are having problems with ligatures that don't work (have to look for them manually) and when characters that have alternative styles are highlighted, a lot of characters appear that I don't want, so my photoshop crashes.

I tried my old font which was made with fontcreator version 12 with a similar opentype feature, my old font works fine in photoshop.

Try to disable the "Optimize storage of OpenType layout features" as available from the Options -> Font tab.
