There was a comparison tool to see next or before glyps to design or kerning.
A same tool i need to set diacritics (hareke).
And also there is only a way to set position mark to base.
Is not that possible to set mark to mark (but not same base characters marks) maybe two base characters marks to be set value.
Because while making mark to base setting it seems well and there is no problem
But in real there is serius problem. (red one)
If only there is a way to set value free of base. Between red and blue one
glyph index like that:
beh.init/d2above/arabicdammacomb/beh.medi/d1belw1/arabicfathacomb/ain.fina
base/ mark diactric -mark to mark-/ base / mark /diactric /base

You can use the Text Tool, to type text into the glyph panel.
Please send me the font project along with instructions.

I am not sure, but there might be a way with a combination of ignore mark and a mark filtering set, but that might break the more common mark-to-base functionality.
Re: Opentype designer setting diacritics position difficulty
I mean we should ignore base inside of mark and set value for mark to markErwin Denissen wrote: ↑Sat Oct 29, 2022 8:07 am I am not sure, but there might be a way with a combination of ignore mark and a mark filtering set, but that might break the more common mark-to-base functionality.

Yes, that is what I meant, but I posted incorrect information, as you can't even do both with marks
So let me try again:
