I am a fontcreator new user
I made a font file for scientific purposes that contains only the BASIC LATIN block.
I want it to be replaced by the = sign
Why this ligature shown in the picture did not work
i have tried both standard and discretionary ligature
By the way, I modified the = tag from automatic to ligatour in OT class
The ligaturing works properly in the OpenType Designer window,(see the image) but when I tested the file, I did not find it working properly
ligature issue for : eq ---> =

How do you test your font?

You can enable standard ligatures in Word.
But maybe required ligatures better suits your needs.
