The font contains an unknown sfnt version?

Post by Waleedov »

What does this mean?
I was able to open the TTF file in other software, but not in Font Creator. Its a font with coloured emojis.

The font is not supported by FontCreator as it only contains color bitmap glyph data. Such raster-based (png) images are stored in the internal CBDT & CBLC tables, but FontCreator only supports vector based color outlines (COLR and SVG).

Windows will also refuse such fonts, as it needs monochrome outlines. I think these are mostly used with smart phones.

FontLab seems to support it.
