Copy kerning information
Copy kerning information
Usually, font publishers don't include kerning for European accetend characters (á, é, â, ã etc.). There are numerous kerning pairs for "a" but none for "á". I am a novice in FontCreator and I don't know if there is a way to copy the kerning pairs from "a" to customize them for "á" (and so on). Any suggestion?

Re: Copy kerning information
With a new font, you can use the Autokern Wizard.
By using kerning classes, large numbers of kerning pairs can be grouped in one class, e.g. Ta will be in the same class as Tą but ā and ă will need different kerning classes. The Auto-kerning wizard will create these classes for you, but I prefer to create my classes manually.

Thank you very much for your message. I'll follow that route. I have defined classes for the accented characters I need and the task is less time consuming, no doubt.
