Glyphs empty suddenly (although still there)

Post by Bry »

Hi.
Sorry to bother everyone again, but this is really weird and I can't find anything on Google about it.
I've been working on a font and when I returned to it a lot of the glyphs weren't showing up on the main page. They are still there if I go into the glyph editor, but they aren't visible before that.
I tried starting another font to see if that would fix it, but the same thing is happening. As far as I can tell it's pretty random, however in the initial font they were the glyphs I'd been working on (as well as others)
Help!?!?

Are those unused glyphs?

No. If I double click on them and go in to edit each individual glyph, the glyphs I've designed are there. They just aren't showing upon the main font page.

Maybe you accidentally changed glyph display mode to color?

To fix that, select View from the main menu and then set Glyph Display Mode to Auto.

What also might help is to reset zoom. Also from the View menu, but now select Zoom Reset.

Aha!!!! :D
Thank you so much!
I'm messing around with so many things to learn that I have no idea what the consequences of what I do are :-)
