VOLT

Post by phb »

This isn't really directly concerned with Font Creator but I've joined VOLT, looked at the documents and can't find anything as simple as just the conversion of a TT font to Open Type.

I'd appreciate a brief tutorial if anyone has the time.

Volt relase notes might be a good place to start.

I just joined VOLT, and my impression, from playing with the software, is that open type is an extension of true type. I've put open type features in my Greek font, and edited the font in fcp, all with no problem other than VOLT saying I have a bad cmap table every time I try to save. Doesn't matter, it still saves, and fcp still works.

Just my two cents,

This might be a bug. Could you give some more information about the error message from VOLT?
