Just type "n" in the LSB expression field for m if you want to keep the left side-bearing of glyph "m" and "n" to be the same.
Glyph Name Conflicts".
The problem is that it doesn't work according to glyph names, but only in English and numbers.
Could you make it work by glyph names like formulas?

Re: Metrics by glyph name in compound glyph
Please send us a minimal font project that illustrates the issue.
Re: Metrics by glyph name in compound glyph
I couldn't upload the project so I created a new font with only the glyphs.
I wrote two letters in Hebrew and two letters in English.
Two additional letters whose metrics is based on other glyphs: one letter is based on Hebrew, and another letter is based on English, you will be able to identify them by their name.
He recognizes the English but not the Hebrew.
