I have just downloaded Maintype. It is good. I have until now used my own creation (I call it fontpot). When I create groups there, I can drag them on to a 'pot'.
Would it be possible to drag the group-tab out to a seperate window? Like I can do with the toolboxes. (I use two monitors: One for toolboxes and one for the document).

I have used FontCreator a lot and are very happy about that product

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to the to-do list.

For now, you can select one or more fonts from the Fonts or Browse pane and then drag them to the Groups tab. This way you will activate the Groups pane, that allows you to drop the selected fonts into a group. I hope this makes sense, so do let us know your results.
