dumb question

Sorry to ask such a dumb question but I am a newbie...
I just started putting the fonts into groups and I kept getting this message from my computer that Acrobat Distiller was having a problem and needed to close. But I didn't have Distiller open at the time. Does this have anything to do with MainType or is my computer just buggy?

I am having more issues now- When I was trying to install or uninstall fonts today, it kept popping up a dialogue box every time that said "There is no disk inthe drive. Please insert a disk to continue." Which is weird. Everything seemed to install okay. Are there known incompatibility issues between MainType and Adobe CS2 programs?
