I have a separate free tool to find all fonts which can serve a certain need, for example can display a specific minority language. I would muchly love to have this feature inside MainType please, so that I can first find the useful fonts and then assign them to a group, load, unload etc.
The tool is here:

On myfonts.com I could do a similar search, and find (and purchase) only typefaces which can display a certain project language, but sadly this has been replaced by "language" coverage.
Recently I had a project where I needed a "drop" (of water). I had to search online and indeed, there is a Unicode point for "droplet". https://emojipedia.org/droplet/
But it is again a real pain to search through my fonts for this glyph.
I am sure that other users could also benefit from this feature or a something that would provide similar results, like requested in this thread:
posting.php?mode=quote&f=13&p=28345
thank you

You don't actually need to search online for emojis. Just type WinKey+Period in the Font Name field in MainType and start typing the name ... drop... Fonts that do not include the glyph will be in red. I agree that it is still a pain to search through a lot of fonts for those that are not red.xyz wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 4:54 pmRecently I had a project where I needed a "drop" (of water).
