Font Refresh Not Agreeing with Font Folder

Hi

I currently have 924 fonts I have managed to organize with MainType.

Under groups, I'm showing 924, but when I click on file refresh it is showing only 922. Why would this happen and is there a way to fix this?

Alright I now understand what you are talking about.

There is a difference between fonts and resources. A resource usually contains a single font, but OpenType collection files and variable font files contain multiple fonts. And the now obsolete Type 1 fonts are stored in two files (.pfm and .pfb). Also multiple resources can be exact binary duplicates. So the number of resources and the number of fonts are not the same.
