Here is an update that will add kerning values to the selected master.

FontCreator 14.0.0.2865 (64-bit)

I hope this helps, so let us know your results.

I am curious about your results so far.

So the conclusions from my experience are.
1. It should be possible to reset the coupling values in the masters, and not remove them completely.
2. If there is a very comprehensive carnation, you should have the option of expanding the carnation benefit - optional)

Can you please give more details of what you don't like and what you think can further improve the software?

In a parametric font it is customary to work with 3 masters to get a result of correct height and width ratios!

The main problem is that when working on many couplings in premium fonts, the master master sets a cornering gain for the rest, only this is really not true for the rest, because the spacing is derived from the glyph and its rhythm, the black master at the end is too tight, and the light master should be very spacious. The rationale is to reset all the parameters of the couplings, but not delete them!

I hope some other users step in to see if this topic results in more improvements, but for now I don't see what we can do to improve this.

I think the simplest is to move the metrics in each master separately, it should be updated with the kerning.
