can't edit the glyph

did you know why when i use auto composite, the glyph is can't edit. are this normal? so, like change direction is can't use while the object are negative

Make the composite simple in order to edit it. See the broken chain link icon.

The glyph is a composite glyph, made out of other glyphs.

Just make sure the contour directions are all correct in the used composite glyph members. You can use the Validation wizard to check and fix such issues.
