Hello, guys.
I am making glyphs for a conlang and I have a problem when there are 2 ligatures together.
I have one ligature for C+V and another for V+V. When I have a C+V+V, C+V loses its ligature and becomes a V+V ligature. How do I fix that?

Re: ligature plus ligature problem
Include a C+V+V ligature before the others so that it gets substituted first.

Re: ligature plus ligature problem
But I don't want a C+V+V ligature, I want the C+V ligature to remain unchanged when it becomes a diphthong(other vocal).Bhikkhu Pesala wrote: ↑Thu Jan 12, 2023 8:10 pm Include a C+V+V ligature before the others so that it gets substituted first.

Re: ligature plus ligature problem
This can never happen with normal ligatures, unless there is some reordering in advance, but I don't think that applies here.raitoringo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 12, 2023 5:14 pm I am making glyphs for a conlang and I have a problem when there are 2 ligatures together.

What does the Proofing dialog reveal? It is accessible through the second toolbar icon on the OpenType Designer.

That is strange. I deleted the V+V ligatures and made them again, and now they work!
