Rename font

Post by Guenther »

Hello, I have a font for keyboard symbols, I want to keep this font and additionally install a changed version in parallel.
How do I have to rename the second font so that both versions are displayed in Windows?

Another question; if I want to delete a font character in the glyph overview, I have to double click to open the character, delete the character and close it.

Is it also possible to do this directly in the overview, so that the position is preserved?
best regards
Günther

The font family name is changed in Font Properties.

To delete the glyph outline from the glyph overview, leaving the character, use the eraser toolbar icon for Make Empty.

Hi Bhikku Pesala,
thank you, that helps me.
Can I remove/hide icons from the toolbar for a better overview?
best regards
Günther

The Toolbars can be docked at any side of the window or hidden. Individual icons cannot be hidden.
