How to display control characters?

Post by BParkoff »

Hi,

I will like to display the control character font to the screen. This will help to reveal the horizontal tab symbol and carriage return symbol.

Can I assign the value from the range $00 through $1F on the code-point in Glyph Properties panel? Why are Glyphs folder show 32 Unused?

After I press and hold left ALT key and enter 0 through 31 (decimal) in NumPad keys in Microsoft Word, all control characters will be remapped into Unicode value (Greater than 0x2000).

If it is not possible, should I assign zero value to advance width in Glyph Properties panel for each control characters?

Kindly,
Bryan Parkoff

Control characters are usually not displayed, but it depends on the software you use. For example Word has an option to show hidden formatting symbols, but the marks are not shown with glyphs from the selected font.
