Carriage Return in BarCode Fonts

I am wondering wether or not it’s possible using font creator (or another program) to remove the charecter that is displayed by the carriage return? It is causing me problems with my barcodes particuarly 3 of 9.
Thanks.

Word displays the glyph that is mapped to the “space symbol” after each carriage return. This glyph should not contain any outlines. To locate that glyph, look for this Microsoft Symbol mapping value: 61472 (hexadecimal 0xF020). Usually the fourth glyph has this mapping, if not select Find from the Edit menu and then go to the Mapping page and select Microsoft Symbol platform and enter the value.

I can remove that and there’s no problems thanks. Unfortunatly I need the space charecter in the font. Any suggestions?

Don’t remove the glyph, just it’s contours.

Okay, no probs… how do I do that?

Click the eraser icon to make it empty.

Select the space glyph in the Overview window. From the main menu, select Edit → Make Empty.
