I am new to font creation. I have used Arial for my base font and added fraction symbols in 16th. Thus 13/16. I used the base numerical chacter and reduced it by about 45%. In doing this the line weght becomes thin.
I would like to know if there is a fast and easy way to increase the weight of my added chacters. I hope this is clear. The fraction is numerator then slash then demonator. Thank You,
Bob
Yes. You can use the glyph transformer, effects, bold. There is no undo for this feature, so save your font first. Select all the fractions, and experiment with different values for the transformation until you get what you want. You may find it easier to transform the glyph is several small steps, rather than trying to guess the right values straight off.
