I made a Chinese font with Scanahand 5.0, containing about 110 characters, but after I install it, it doesn’t work in any program apart from Notepad.
To work properly the Chinese glyphs need to be assigned to the correct Unicode code-points.
How do I do that?

With the information you’ve provided, it is next to impossible to know why it fails. Maybe a codepage or character range setting is incorrect. Do send the font file to us, and we will look into it.
We know several people use Scanahand to make Chinese fonts, but they use the most recent version.
