Color glyphs don't work in Adobe Illustrator CC [solved]

I wanted only to test color glyphs from attached font. They don’t work in Adobe Ilustrator CC. Does someone know why? This is probably a good lead: a properly functioning color font EmojiOne has “svg” icon (screenshot). What should I do to make my font have the same status?

Your CLR font works fine in anything supporting the COLR format, here using QuarkXPress:

I do not have a current subscription for Adobe products, but your COLR format can be converted to an SVG format using TransType, again here in QXP:

Exactly this way I wanted to test today. Great! I think it’s solved. Thank you very much!

I can’t find TransType in QXP. Where it is?

It is a separate program from FontLab TransType

Great. Thanks!

I’m aware this is an older topic, but just for reference: it’s straightforward in FontCreator.

Simply open the font, go to Font → Export Settings, change the color format from COLR to SVG, and then export the font again. This will give you a color font in the SVG format.
