I have a paid copy of Maintype version 12 professional. i mistakenly installed version 13, then went back to version 12 but im getting an error message
Database manager reports database has a serious problem!: The database version (1.24) is newer than the application expects (1.23)
this doesnt even let me open the app v 12. Is there any database I need to delete? Ive tried uninstalling twice and reinstalling but keep getting the same error message.

If you don’t want to move forward with MainType 13, then there are two options:

In case you made a backup through FmsConfig, reinstall MainType 12 and then restore the backup.

Or perform a full uninstall, and then reinstall to ensure you start with a clean database. You will need to fully remove it, so also let it remove the database, vault, and cache files.
Thanks for replying. I tried uninstalling it, but I mustn’t have deleted the database. Can I please ask where I would find it to delete it?
You can delete this folder:
C:\ProgramData\High-Logic FontService
